Welding Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee all welding operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Monitor welder performance and provide training to improve skills and efficiency.
• Conduct weld penetration tests and ensure proper documentation of test results.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure regular calibration.
• Work closely with the production and quality teams to resolve welding-related issues.
• Enforce workplace safety measures and PPE compliance.
• Assist in developing and improving welding processes for increased productivity.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding supervision, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience in conducting weld penetration tests and quality control.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
