Welding Supervisor

Leadership and team management

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of welding teams.
• Train and mentor junior welders on best practices and problem-solving.
• Provide technical guidance on welding techniques and procedures.
• Manage and coordinate the team's workflow to meet project deadlines and milestones.

Quality and compliance

• Conduct inspections of both in-progress and completed welds to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant welding codes, standards, and procedures.
• Verify that the correct welding procedures and materials are used for each job.
• Work with weld inspectors to maintain specified standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, quality checks, and project progress.

Safety and maintenance

• Develop and enforce strict safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
• Monitor and control all aspects of health, safety, and environment (HSE).
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment and tools, coordinating repairs as needed.

Project coordination and administration

• Interpret blueprints and work orders to plan and schedule welding activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on complex fabrications and technical issues.
• Manage and requisition necessary supplies, such as welding rods and gas.
• Maintain accurate records of welding activities, material consumption, and performance.
• Approve work hours and appraise employee performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹24,279.39 - ₹30,000.19 per month
