We are seeking an experienced Welding Manager to oversee welding operations, ensure top-quality fabrication, and lead a skilled team in delivering products that meet industry standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Supervise and manage the welding department, including welders, fitters, and fabricators. ✅ Ensure all welding activities meet project specifications, quality standards and safety regulations. ✅ Develop and maintain welding procedures, WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications. ✅ Conduct inspections and quality checks on welds, materials, and finished products. ✅ Coordinate with design, production, and project management teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery. ✅ Train and mentor welding staff, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices. ✅ Maintain and manage welding equipment, tools, and consumables inventory. ✅ Monitor department KPIs (productivity, quality, rework rates) and implement improvement plans as needed. ✅ Stay updated on latest welding technologies, methods, and industry trends. Qualifications: ✔ Proven experience as a Welding Manager, Welding Supervisor, or similar role, preferably in the Fabrication Industry or related manufacturing. ✔ Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, ROBO, etc.) and materials (sheet metal, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum). ✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. ✔ Strong leadership and team management skills. ✔ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. ✔ Good communication and coordination skills across departments. ✔ Relevant certifications (CWI, CSWIP, or equivalent) are a plus.
