Wedding Video Editor & Animator

We are seeking a versatile Post-Production Specialist to drive our visual content, balancing two key areas: creating emotionally compelling wedding films and developing high-impact motion graphics for our brand clients. The ideal candidate is a technical editor with a strong creative eye who can seamlessly pivot from capturing a couple's story to animating a corporate identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Wedding Video Editing:

Comprehensive Editing: Edit both traditional (ceremony, speeches) and candid (spontaneous, heartfelt moments) footage to produce a cohesive, high-quality final product.

Sound & Sync: Ensure flawless audio/video synchronization, integrate licensed music, and apply subtle sound design for a premium viewing experience.

Creative Vision: Collaborate with clients to deliver a film that reflects their personal vision and tells the unique story of their wedding day.

Animation with After Effects:

VFX & Design: Utilize Adobe After Effects expertise to conceptualize and execute visually stunning motion graphics, including dynamic logo animations, typography, 3D elements, and promotional videos.

Brand Alignment: Develop creative animated assets for commercials, social media, and digital campaigns, ensuring strict adherence to client brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

End-to-End Execution: Manage the full animation lifecycle, from initial storyboarding and asset creation through to final compositing and rendering.

Collaboration and Client Communication:

Client Partnership: Act as a key contact, collaborating directly with clients to fully grasp their brand goals and stylistic preferences, ensuring all video edits and animations are tailored precisely to their needs.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Integrate seamlessly with marketing and creative teams to ensure all brand animations support overarching campaign objectives and messaging.

Technical Expertise:

Software Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced expertise in industry-standard editing platforms (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) for wedding film production, coupled with expert command of Adobe After Effects for high-quality motion graphics and visual effects.

Workflow Management: Own the entire post-production pipeline, ensuring an efficient and organized workflow from initial video editing and animation through to final delivery and archiving.

Creativity & Innovation:

Trend Leader: Proactively monitor and implement the latest techniques and fresh ideas in both cinematic wedding editing and commercial brand animation.

Innovative Content Creation: Apply cutting-edge animation and editing methods to produce visually stunning and emotionally engaging content for both personal (weddings) and commercial (brand) projects.

Qualifications:

Experience & Portfolio: Proven track record in wedding video editing, evidenced by a strong portfolio showcasing both cinematic traditional edits and heartfelt candid storytelling.

Expertise in Adobe After Effects, including motion graphics, keyframing, compositing, and advanced animation techniques.

After Effects Expertise: Demonstrated advanced skill set in Adobe After Effects, including motion graphics, compositing, advanced keyframing, and visual effects application.

Technical Fluency: High proficiency in core video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).

Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex workloads, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet project deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and professional communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal team members.
