Wedding Decor Designer

As a talented and organized Wedding Decor Designer, you will be joining our in-house team to play a key role in leading the design and execution of large-scale wedding decor projects. Your responsibilities will involve client interactions, creative direction, design development, project management, process building, on-site supervision, and cross-team collaboration. In terms of client interaction, you will lead decor consultations to deeply understand aesthetics, preferences, and budgets. You will be responsible for translating client visions into cohesive decor concepts, moodboards, and layouts for various wedding functions. Design development will involve creating event-wise design plans encompassing themes, installations, color palettes, materials, and spatial arrangements. Additionally, you will oversee timelines, budgets, and on-ground execution for large weddings in close collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Furthermore, part of your role will also include designing systems and templates to efficiently personalize decor for mid-to-small scale weddings. On-site, you will be ensuring flawless decor execution during event setups and working closely with Relationship Managers, Experience Managers, and Partner Vendors for successful outcomes. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong eye for design, storytelling, and aesthetics, along with 3-4 years of experience in event/wedding decor. Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong organizational and project management abilities, and proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, etc., are also essential. Being able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment is crucial, and any experience in luxury weddings, hospitality, or lifestyle design projects would be considered a bonus. Please note that this role requires availability to work on weekends with 1 weekday rotational off.
