The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web design principles and hands-on experience with PHP, WordPress, HTML, and CSS. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our clients' objectives. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop custom WordPress themes and templates from scratch. Convert wireframes and mockups into fully functional websites using HTML5, CSS3, and PHP. Ensure all websites are responsive and optimized for performance across various devices and browsers. Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings. Integrate third-party APIs and plugins as required. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs and performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define website requirements. Maintain and update existing websites to ensure they remain current and functional. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Website Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with WordPress theme and plugin development. Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar. Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques. Experience with responsive and adaptive design. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Preferred Skills: Experience with WooCommerce for eCommerce website development. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Familiarity with website performance testing tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights). Understanding of website security best practices.
