Website Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring smooth user experiences, and optimizing web functionality. This role requires proficiency in coding languages, an understanding of web design, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment to bring projects to life.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Websites: Build, update, and maintain websites and web applications according to project requirements and specifications.
• Write Clean, Scalable Code: Develop well-structured, reusable code using programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Collaborate with Designers and Developers: Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement website designs and ensure user-friendly functionality.
• Optimize for Performance: Ensure fast loading times and high performance across different devices and browsers.
• Ensure Cross-Browser Compatibility: Test websites for compatibility and functionality across various browsers and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
• Maintain and Troubleshoot Websites: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure websites are running efficiently.
• Implement Security Measures: Ensure the website’s security by following best practices and implementing necessary updates.
• Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Continuously improve skills and stay informed on the latest web technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate on Web Strategies: Participate in planning and developing web strategies and user flows to enhance website effectiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Front-End Development: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Back-End Development: Proficiency in server-side languages such as PHP, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or others.
• Responsive Web Design: Ability to create responsive websites that work seamlessly on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Experience with Version Control Systems: Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Database Management: Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with CMS: Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• SEO Best Practices: Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize a website for search engines.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API integration and web services.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify or Woo Commerce.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics or similar.
• Understanding of Agile development practices.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in web development (for mid-level positions).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
