Web Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

We are looking for a skilled WordPress & Shopify Developer (2-3 years of experience) who can build, optimize, and maintain high-performing websites and eCommerce stores. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in website development, SEO fundamentals, Core Web Vitals optimization, landing page creation, and a solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, including working with Figma designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and Shopify stores
• Build and optimize landing pages focused on conversions and performance
• Ensure websites meet Core Web Vitals standards (LCP, CLS, INP) and load quickly
• Implement SEO best practices (on-page SEO, schema basics, site structure, performance optimization)
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages
• Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to improve UI/UX
• Optimize websites for mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Integrate third-party plugins, apps, and APIs as needed
• Maintain website security, backups, and updates

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, customizations)
• Strong experience with Shopify (themes, Liquid, app integrations)
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website optimization
• Hands-on experience improving Core Web Vitals & page speed
• Experience creating high-converting landing pages
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles
• Ability to work with Figma files and translate designs into functional websites
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
• Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience with custom WordPress theme development
• Familiarity with Gutenberg, Elementor, or other page builders
• Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
• Experience with multilingual or international websites
• Basic understanding of hosting environments and CDN setup
