Web Developer Intern

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 100000 - Rs 120000 (ie INR 1-1.2 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js.
• Build, test, and optimize RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and implement database schemas and queries using MongoDB.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement intuitive UI/UX components.
• Integrate third-party APIs and AI-driven features into web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery.
• Debug and resolve issues across frontend and backend components.
• Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems.
  

Required Qualifications

• Currently in the final year of graduation (open to all branches; CS/IT background not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ features.
• Basic experience with React.js or Next.js for frontend development.
• Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.
• Understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience using Git and GitHub for version control.
• Personal or academic projects showcasing web development skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team.
• High willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
