Job Description

Role Overview

Wealth Manager Unit Head (AVP/VP)

minimum existing AUM book of 75100 Cr

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Wealth Managers to achieve business targets.
Align team objectives with organizational goals and ensure effective communication with senior leadership.

Business Development & Client Acquisition

Drive acquisition strategies for HNI/UHNI clients.
Support the team in closing high-value deals and onboarding marquee clients.
Achieve P&L targets for the unit.

Client Advisory & Relationship Management

Deliver customized wealth management solutions across
Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Insurance, and Alternate Investments
.
Maintain strong client engagement with proactive market insights and recommendations.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure strict adherence to
SEBI, AMFI
, and other regulatory guidelines, along with internal processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

Leadership Excellence
– Ability to inspire, manage, and retain top talent.
Investment Expertise
– Deep knowledge of MF, PMS, AIF, Bonds, and Insurance.
Business Acumen
– Proven track record in growing AUM and client portfolios.
Client Network
– Strong HNI/UHNI market presence with ability to bring new relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (
MBA/CFP/CFA preferred
).
10–12 years
of wealth management/private banking experience, with
3–4 years in leadership
.
Minimum AUM book of 75–100 Cr
(MF, PMS, AIF) is mandatory.
Preference for candidates who can bring along a performing team.
Proven success in managing
HNI/UHNI portfolios
and delivering consistent business growth.
