Role Overview The Wealth Manager Unit Head (AVP/VP) is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding, mentoring, and managing a team of high-performing Wealth Managers across the assigned location. This position focuses on driving significant growth in Assets Under Management (AUM) and Assets Under Advice (AUA) by acquiring and managing HNI/UHNI relationships, delivering strategic investment solutions, and ensuring exceptional client experiences. Candidates must have a minimum existing AUM book of ?75100 Cr (across Mutual Funds, PMS, and AIF). Preference will be given to candidates who can onboard an existing performing team. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development ? Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Wealth Managers to achieve and exceed business targets. ? Align team objectives with organizational goals, ensuring effective communication with senior leadership. Business Development & Client Acquisition ? Drive targeted acquisition strategies for HNI and UHNI clients. ? Support team members in closing high-value deals and onboarding marquee clients. ? Achieving of P/L Targets Client Advisory & Relationship Management ? Deliver tailor-made wealth management solutions across asset classes including Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Insurance, and Alternate Investments. ? Maintain high client engagement through market insights and proactive recommendations. Compliance & Governance ? Ensure strict adherence to SEBI, AMFI, and other regulatory norms, as well as internal processes. Key Skills & Competencies ? Leadership Excellence: Ability to inspire, manage, and retain high-performing teams. ? Investment Expertise: Strong knowledge of MF, PMS, AIF, Bonds, and insurance products. ? Business Acumen: Proven track record of growing AUM and client portfolios. ? Client Network: Strong HNI/UHNI market presence and ability to bring new relationships. Qualifications & Experience ? Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/CFP/CFA preferred). ? 1012 years of experience in wealth management/private banking, with at least 3 - 4 years in a leadership role. ? Minimum AUM book of ?75100 Cr (across Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF) is mandatory. ? Preference for candidates capable of bringing along a performing team. ? Demonstrated success in managing large HNI/UHNI portfolios and delivering consistent business growth.
