Warehouse Manager : Food Industry

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG logistics, food safety compliance, inventory control, and team management. --- Key Responsibilities: Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of food products in compliance with company policies and food safety standards. Manage warehouse layout and optimize space utilization. Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory management practices. Monitor and maintain stock accuracy, conduct regular cycle counts, and support annual physical inventory. Ensure adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and food storage regulations (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000). Coordinate with procurement, sales, and distribution teams to ensure timely availability and dispatch of goods. Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff including shift supervisors, operators, and loaders. Manage performance metrics such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and stock variance. Maintain records and prepare reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and productivity. Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning. Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining service quality.
