Job Title: Warehouse Manager Location: Siliguri Department: Logistics / Supply Chain Reports To: Operations Manager / Director Experience: Minimum 4–8 years in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in FMCG or tea industry Qualification: Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Administration; Diploma in Warehouse Management preferred Salary: Negotiable Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, dispatch, and receiving activities. The role ensures that goods move efficiently through the supply chain while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods. Ensure accurate inventory management and implement regular stock audits. Coordinate with procurement, dispatch, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse. Monitor and manage warehouse staff performance and shift scheduling. Optimize space utilization and layout for maximum efficiency. Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all inbound and outbound goods. Manage warehouse equipment and coordinate timely maintenance. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Generate daily/weekly reports on inventory status, dispatches, and warehouse performance. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Leadership abilities to manage teams and resolve issues. Basic understanding of logistics, supply chain, and quality control. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
