Walk-In Interview Sales Engineer Position

Experience Required:

Reports To:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform outbound cold calls/emails to initiate engagement and qualify leads.
  • Schedule meetings/demos for field sales and technical pre-sales teams.
  • Maintain CRM (HubSpot or similar) with updated lead activities.
  • Support marketing activities (webinars, campaigns, trade shows).
  • Occasionally visit clients for relationship-building and qualification.
  • Capture first-level requirements and coordinate with engineering teams.
  • Draft proposals using templates and assist with final documentation.
  • Follow up on proposals and maintain momentum via CRM.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years experience in

    SaaS, IIoT, automation

    , or

    industrial solutions

    sales.
  • Background in inside sales, SDR/BDR, or technical sales support.
  • Technical education (B.E./B.Tech preferred) or understanding of industrial technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to engage with engineering/factory/IT-OT leaders.
  • High curiosity, persistence, and drive to close.
