Walk-In-Interview on 21-06-2025,11AM-4PM For Electrical Testing Engineer (Lithium Ion Cells and Battery Packs)

Roles & Responsibilities Develop system and component level requirements for the battery system including the battery management system (BMS)for different applications such as Telecom and BESS Be a key member of a cross functional team to optimize lithium ion battery performance of new and existing cells/Pack Develop novel tests for studying various battery properties under abusive conditions, with Test lab BIS, IEC, ect. Create and manage designs of experiment to enable development of safer and more cost effective battery cell and pack designs. Write test plans, propose design of experiments and summarize results in test reports. Ensure the highest possible data integrity (overall accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data) from the lab. Ensure the lab testing capabilities and schedule the strategic cell testing approach to meet the fast phased continues cell testing with different tests and its norms. Execution of lithium ion cell tests using cell cycling equipment, specialized temperature control fixtures and circulators. Build and assemble fixtures for battery testing. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 4+ years of Experience in design and development of battery pack using the Lithium cells Exposure to BMS and other accessories and their integration to form the complete battery solution is preferable Hands on experience working with cell & Battery Packs Testing equipment. Testing and Validation of Cell and Battery Packs should have good knowledge on testing like - overcharge , Temperature , Cycle Life, Stability Etc Knowledge of electrical test equipment used in battery cell testing or equivalent. Cell Cycler, Automatic battery pack tester, Resistance bank, power supply, CAN- data logger, Impedance tester, Chargers, High Voltage tester, Environmental test chamber. Knowledge of national and international standard applicable for cells and battery pack (IEC 62133, IS 16046, UL1642). Ability to write comprehensive product user manuals, Prepare BOQ’s, analyses mechanical drawings, electrical schematics ect.
