POSITION SUMMARY The Operations Apprentice is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by adhering to established service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining effective communication within the team. This role requires a professional, courteous, and proactive approach in serving food and beverages while upholding hygiene, safety, and operational standards. The associate will also contribute to promoting team collaboration, product knowledge, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced restaurant environment. ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Adhere to the established sequence of service and ensure professional delivery at all times. 2. Communicate courteously and professionally with all guests. 3. Upsell and recommend food and beverage specialties to enhance guest experience. 4. Maintain effective communication within the department and with supporting teams. 5. Possess comprehensive knowledge of menu items, beverages, and ongoing promotions. 6. Report punctually in proper attire and grooming, complete with nametag. 7. Comply with hygiene, fire, safety, and health regulations. 8. Promote teamwork and professionalism within the department. 9. Ensure guest satisfaction for assigned tables or sections. 10. Use clean and dry operating equipment during service. 11. Deliver food to correct tables and pick up items promptly from the kitchen or beverage counter. 12. Serve food at appropriate temperatures and ensure timely replenishment of drinks and water. 13. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience. 14. Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all operating equipment. 15. Complete mis-en-place before taking over assigned station or counter. 16. Conduct proper handover to incoming staff at the end of the shift. 17.  Attend all training programs as scheduled. 18.  Perform daily and monthly inventories as directed by the Restaurant Manager. 19.  Undertake additional duties assigned by management to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Knowledge of food and beverage products, including promotions, is an advantage. Professional grooming and adherence to service standards
