Job Description

As a Vulnerability Management (VM) Governance Lead at Barclays, your role is to support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects by planning, budgeting, and ensuring agreed quality and governance standards. You will lead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to enhance customer experiences through cutting-edge technology. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures within a global financial institution. - Communicate effectively with technical teams, business units, and senior stakeholders. - Guide, influence, and inspire cross-functional teams towards strategic direction and collaboration. - Define and track Key Performance and Risk Indicators for vulnerability remediation, SLA adherence, and risk reduction. - Chair governance forums, steering committees, and audit reviews focusing on audit readiness and evidence-based reporting. - Deliver projects efficiently with a consistent record of high-quality outputs within deadlines. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital, and technology. - Proficiency in vulnerability management operating model, policies, and procedures. - Strong communication skills to convey vulnerabilities to relevant parties. - Collaboration with Threat intelligence and Cyber Operations teams for assessing exposure to latest threat trends. - Definition of requirements for automation tools to streamline vulnerability management processes. - Reporting remediation status of Security Assurance Specialist team findings against Key Risk Indicators. The purpose of your role is to ensure the safety of customers, clients, and colleagues by identifying cyber-vulnerabilities, prioritizing them using a risk-based approach, and driving effective remediation activity. You will be accountable for: - Allocating risk ratings and prioritizing remediation based on industry standards. - Developing vulnerability management operating model, policies, and procedures. - Communicating vulnerabilities to relevant parties and providing recommendations for improvement. - Collaborating with Threat intelligence and Cyber Operations teams to assess exposure to threat trends. - Defining requirements for automation tools to streamline vulnerability management processes. - Reporting remediation status of Security Assurance Specialist team findings.
