Role Overview: As the Staffing Office Onboarding Lead, you will play a critical role in managing operations, leading a professional team, driving performance excellence, and spearheading transformative initiatives within the onboarding function. Your deep understanding of operational integration and ability to apply disciplinary knowledge will be essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining robust risk and control frameworks. Strong communication skills, diplomacy, and proactive problem-solving approach will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day operational activities within the Staffing Office Onboarding unit, including work distribution, capacity planning, and resource optimization. - Provide comprehensive people management, establish clear team goals aligned with Citi's performance management structure, and drive motivation and professional development for team members. - Monitor and ensure timeliness and efficiency of all onboarding operational activities, implement performance management strategies, and champion continuous process improvement opportunities. - Partner closely with HR Control & Compliance, Staffing Office Oversight, and Legal teams to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and co-employment laws. - Act as a Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders, assist the Business Unit Head in accommodating complex requests, and operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Qualifications: - Experience: 5-10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a significant portion in a leadership role, preferably within a staffing, HR operations, or similar high-volume processing environment. - Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing professional teams, including performance evaluation, coaching, and talent development. - Operational Acumen: Proven background in project administration, operational process design, and a strong understanding of end-to-end operational flows. - Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable goals and outcomes. - Communication & Influence: Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills, with clear, concise, persuasive written and verbal communication. - Interpersonal Skills: Strong teamwork and organizational skills, with a passion for integrity and a positive attitude. - Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex operational and systemic issues.
