VP - GTPM HUB SME

As a VP - GTPM HUB SME at HSBC, your role will involve frequent liaison with a large range of stakeholders to ensure the Hub provides a quality service and meets its commitment and obligations. You will lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) by providing guidance and training, ensuring they have the capacity and skills to meet demand. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and maintaining a strong understanding of regional and global regulations associated with third-party risk - Providing training and upskilling of Hub resources - Resolving findings identified through internal control audits - Managing key stakeholder relationships for the HUB - Identifying development needs, providing ongoing training, and continuously improving processes - Setting and executing plans for process adherence reviews, thematic reviews, QC of QC, and end-to-end reviews - Delivering periodic white papers across risk domains and reviewing analysis and reporting to highlight key themes, trends, or risks - Translating strategy into your function and aligning directions accordingly - Demonstrating the ability to understand and translate strategy into your function - Proven track record in role modelling the Group values and behaviours Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience within a third-party management role, preferably within financial services - Strong people management skills and experience in achieving outcomes through a team of technical resources - Strong understanding of regional and global regulations - Professional qualification in one or more risk domains - Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience - Fluency in English is essential The HUB at HSBC supports global businesses and functions, and the ability to have strong written and verbal skills in English is crucial for this role.
