Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Investment & Valuation Analyst

to oversee the

valuation process, financial modeling, and strategic analysis

for a portfolio of investments, particularly in the

energy sector

. The role involves

financial forecasting, due diligence, transaction support, and collaboration with global teams

to drive investment efficiency and maximize portfolio value.

Key Responsibilities:

Valuation & Financial Modeling:
- Oversee the
  valuation process
  for all investments, ensuring compliance with
  accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  .
- Review and approve
  valuation models and assumptions
  , conduct
  sensitivity analyses
  , and ensure timely valuation completion.
- Model
  net cash flows
  across portfolio companies and their respective
  waterfall structures
  .
- Develop accurate
  expense allocation models
  and
  forecast tax distributions
  for multiple investments.
Strategic & Investment Analysis:
- Conduct
  primary research on energy industry trends
  , providing insights to shape
  investment strategies
  .
- Provide
  analytical and strategic support
  to portfolio companies to
  enhance operational efficiency and value creation
  .
Due Diligence & Transaction Support:
- Lead
  due diligence efforts
  for potential investment opportunities, conducting thorough assessments of
  risks and opportunities
  .
- Support
  transaction negotiations
  , working closely with stakeholders to
  optimize investment terms
  .
- Foster
  strong relationships with partners, investors, and key industry stakeholders
  .
Financial Oversight & Reporting:
- Collaborate with the
  US-based team
  to ensure alignment on
  financial strategies and objectives
  .
- Oversee
  accountancy tracking
  , ensuring accurate reporting of
  revenue, expenses, and fund performance
  .

Requirements & Qualifications:

7+ years of experience
in investment analysis, financial modeling, and valuation within the
private equity, energy, or infrastructure sector
.
Strong expertise in
valuation methodologies, waterfall structures, and financial forecasting
.
Proficiency in
sensitivity analysis, tax distribution modeling, and expense allocation
.
Experience with
due diligence, investment negotiations, and risk assessment
.
Knowledge of
energy market trends and regulatory frameworks
is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to
collaborate across global teams
.
Proficiency in financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, VBA) and accounting software.
Relevant finance or investment certifications (CFA, CPA, CAIA) are a plus
.
