Associate Director, Risk Analysis and Ratings Review Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India Work Experience: 7 to 15 years Educational Qualification: MBA from a high-tier B-school (preferred) or a high-ranking CA Why Join Our Team Varied and stimulating work profile Opportunity to analyse emerging risks from the ground up Participation in high-visibility projects that impact corporate decisions Engagement with high-level business stakeholders across Crisil Opportunity to understand Crisils credit risk frameworks in depth, across themes and sectors About The RARR Team RARR is instrumental in: Identifying and monitoring strategic risks and identifying improvement opportunities for CRISIL businesses Conducting thematic interventions to help Crisils management and Board understand and mitigate emerging risks Ensuring analytical quality assurance for CRISIL Ratings, including comprehensive reviews of methodologies, criteria, and rating processes About The Role As a seasoned and versatile analyst in RARR, you will strengthen Crisils business resilience by: Anticipating and assessing strategic risks Enhancing analytical quality Driving business excellence Your insights and contributions will directly impact key decisions made by Crisils senior management and Board of Directors Key Responsibilities Risk Analysis and Strategic Initiatives Contribute to projects assessing strategic risks in various domains, such as Generative AI and flagship product business value Develop actionable insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and risk management Analytical Quality and Assurance Critically review credit analysis reports, methodologies, and criteria to derive insights that enhance analytical rigor and quality Identify improvement areas for analytical frameworks in partnership with business teams Enterprise-wide Collaboration Evaluate and understand analytical processes across CRISIL group companies to ensure consistency and robustness Contribute to strengthening core CRISIL IP products Project Execution Define data and information requirements and devise tests to effectively diagnose and analyse areas of focus Over time, take responsibility for end-to-end project design and delivery Executive Communication Develop and deliver high-impact presentations to CRISILs senior management and Board of Directors, ensuring nuanced insights are conveyed sharply and impartially Key Skills And Attributes Demonstrated and recognized analytical skills in a relevant domain of expertise Ability to connect the dots and see the bigger picture Independent thinking ability to challenge conventional narratives Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and written communication Expertise in credit ratings, risk analysis, or business strategy Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, especially at senior levels Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience 7 to 15 years of experience in a leading credit rating agency, bank, fund, consulting company, or corporate role with a focus on analytics, strategy, or risk management Prior experience in Crisil preferred but not essential
