As a VMware Sales Consultant, your role is to maximize the VMware sales numbers by evangelizing, promoting, creating demand, and closing solution sales orders for the complete portfolio of VMware products/solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Be the torchbearer for the complete portfolio of VMware products & solutions, acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for VMware. - Build VMware sales & competencies by coordinating with teams across locations and pitching VMware products and services to multiple customers. - Make 10-30 cold calls per day and qualify at least 10 opportunities per month. - Map potential industry verticals and secure meetings with decision-makers at target accounts. - Garner more potential customers by leveraging your existing relationships & industry experience. - Conduct sales presentations on feature/functionality either through webinars or in client-facing meetings. - Proficiently pitch VMware & IT Infrastructure Solutions. - Build & maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders across your accounts/customers. - Perform end-to-end account mapping from pre-RFP to closure stage, cross-selling domain-centric services from the wide range of solutions portfolio. - Account mining and growth for focused Public Sector Units, CSIR Labs, Large Universities, Banking, Manufacturing, IT/ITES & Defence Accounts. - Retain accounts by developing strong relationships with key decision-makers. - Maintain an excellent business relationship with major OEMs/Vendors & VMware. - Fulfill sales quota quarterly or annually & achieve the allocated revenue targets. Qualifications Required: - Relevant IT Infrastructure industry work experience of at least 5 years. - Technical Presentation Skills would be an added advantage. - Excellent oral, written & problem-solving skills. Education Qualifications: - Engineering Degree in Electronics, Electricals, Power, Instrumentation, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software, or Telecommunication. - MBA/BCA/MCA/MS in Computer Applications; BSC/MSC in Computer Science or Information Technology. - Overall percentage of marks in 10th, 12th, Degree, and PGDBM/MBA should be preferably 60%.
