Required Skills & Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain VMware vSphere and VMware ESXi hosts, including configuration, deployment, and routine maintenance.
• Manage VMware vCenter Server for centralized monitoring and control of ESXi hosts and virtual machines (VMs).
• Create, configure, deploy, and manage virtual machines (VMs) and VM templates.
• Configure and manage VMware clusters, resource pools, DRS, and high availability (HA) settings.
• Manage and optimize storage solutions, including VMware vSAN, NFS, and other storage integrations.
• Configure and manage VMware networking, including vSwitches, Distributed Switches (vDS), and network policies.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of storage and network resources in virtual environments.
• Implement, manage, and maintain VM backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Design, test, and update disaster recovery (DR) plans for VMware infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to VMs, host servers, storage, and networking.
• Provide expert-level technical support to internal teams using VMware infrastructure for critical business applications.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for all VMware systems, configurations, operational procedures, and recovery processes.
