VMware Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi hosts, vCenter Server).
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of virtual machines.
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and failover testing.
• Manage storage (SAN/NAS) and networking within virtual environments.
• Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to VMware infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support application deployment and infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in VMware administration.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and VMotion.
• Experience with backup solutions like Veeam, Commvault, or similar.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
• VMware certifications (VCP-DCV) are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹308,111.87 - ₹1,311,210.82 per year
