Job Description

Operations & Compliance

Oversee daily VKYC operations, ensuring adherence to RBI/Regulatory guidelines and internal SOPs.
Monitor VKYC sessions for quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Implement robust checks to minimize errors and compliance risks.
Drive process improvements to reduce turnaround time and improve accuracy.

People Management

Manage a team of VKYC supervisors.
Ensure adequate staffing, rostering, and capacity planning to meet business volumes.
Conduct regular training and upskilling sessions to maintain knowledge on processes, compliance, and customer handling.
Mentor and motivate the team to deliver high performance and customer satisfaction.

Performance & Reporting

Track and publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS/reports on productivity, efficiency, and compliance.
Define and monitor KPIs such as average handling time, session success rate, drop-offs, and FTR (First Time Resolution).
Highlight operational risks, challenges, and improvement areas to senior management.

Customer Experience

Ensure smooth, transparent, and customer-friendly VKYC sessions.
Address escalations and resolve critical customer issues promptly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech etc) for continuous improvements.

Key Requirements

Graduate/Postgraduate with 610 years of experience in Operations, preferably in Banking/Fintech/Customer Onboarding.
Minimum 3 years of experience in leading customer-facing or KYC/Operations teams.
Strong knowledge of RBI/SEBI guidelines on VKYC and compliance processes.
Excellent people management and leadership skills.
Strong analytical, reporting, and process improvement capabilities.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, MIS reporting).
