Job Description A Backup Administrator should have through understanding of Storage and Replication concepts. He should be able to develop solution as per RFP/Tender terms. He should have experience of implementing the solution. He is should be aware iof challenges of deployment in virtualization environment. He is expected to take the initiative on issues and probe deeper into problems to fix root causes to proactively prevent recurrence. Advises on best practices to ensure that customer’s backup solutions are able to work in a reliable, efficient and supportable way. Communicate in a clear and concise manner both in written form of emails, ticket comments, and verbally; as well as internally and on the phone with customers. Requirement: Tender Management: Consistent regular interaction with both internal and external customers as well as account managers and management. Resolve escalated customer issues and manage escalations further to internal support. Troubleshooting of backup and restore failures on multiple platforms with varied configurations. Perform data restorations for servers, file systems, and databases upon customer request in a calm and controlled fashion while maintaining consistent communication with the customer. Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Commvault/Veam/Veritas* backup applications on client servers. Technology/Function : DC Modernization Veritas, Commvault, Veeam etc. Windows Server, Hyper-V Hybrid Cloud Integration. Job Description/ Responsibility : Design and Develop Modernize DC solution (SDDC) ), reference architectures Design and Deploy Virtilization solutions in , Linux, VMware, Microsoft Windows. Solution Design and Archtecting to solve Business problems. Provide design guidance / POC for nextgen technology adoption. Enable Sales team with new technology and advance level Solutions Identify new solution areas based on market trend or customer requirement. Key skills /competencies: 7-8 years of experience in IT services with at least 5 years of experience in latest Backup Application Env. Multivendor Datacentre Technologies Solution Design, Architecture Datacentre Infrastructure Consulting Virtualization. Must have broad background and deep experience with the following area: Data Center virtualization technologies (compute, networking, and storage) Design and deployment of Technologies Strong presentation and articulate, demonstrate the value proposition to the customer Very strong design and development experience Must be able to work independently to run the POC’s / New Technology evaluation /RFP’s Developing HA and DR solution in DC Area DC Migration from on Prem to Cloud Experience of deployment in standalone and cluster setup/ Should have experience of implementing Data Protector Should have experience to implement of Backup from SDN (software define storage) Should have experience to implement of Backup for LAN, SAN and VM Based Should have experience of D2Tape and D2VTL Good knowledge in : New services offerings on Technologies evaluation General understanding of databases including Microsoft SQL* and Mysql* Basic analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have good reference of Backup implementations. Qualification : BE/B-Tech/BCA/MCA Certification: Any Backup Tool certification, which comes in varying levels and requires passing at least one RECENT official exam Apply Now
