About the Role

We are searching for a skilled and innovative Video Producer to join our team. Your responsibilities include reading scripts and liaising with the team and visiting locations to take test shots. You should suggest suitable lighting, angles, filters, and techniques. You should be detail-oriented and demonstrate good creative intelligence, have a strong vision and the ability to communicate that vision to the team.

Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do

• Analysing the screenplay, characters, and story structure, and deciding on a visual approach with the team.
• Conducting research regarding available locations, props, sun position, and weather conditions at the prospective shoot sites
• Selecting and sourcing required equipment, tools, and crew members.
• Visiting locations and taking a series of test shots before deciding on the angles, filers, film stock, framing, equipment, lighting, and techniques that will be used to create the desired atmosphere of the shoot.
• Approving costumes, make-up, and hair, as well as the colour and textures used on set
• Training the crew to safely use new and modified equipment
• Attending cast rehearsals and providing advice where appropriate
• Working with the post-production team to ensure the desired effects are preserved and that the mood of the film is maintained
• Keeping up-to-date with advances in the film industry and attending workshops and training sessions wherever possible
• Expanding networks and maintaining relationships with team professionals.

Qualifications & Skills/What You Need

• You should have at least 2 plus years of relevant experience.
• You should be familiar with the know-how of running a shoot independently.
• You should be an ideator and a team-collaborator.
• You should be well - versed with Motion Graphics.
• Videography experience is a must, should be familiarized with both indoor/outdoor shoots

Software Skills

• Setting up and running a mirrorless camera with numerous settings.
• Setting up various light setups/managing with less and heavy equipment.
• Should know the power of aperture and focus.
• Managing good audio decibels on a shoot to cut through ambient noise.
• Familiarity with Adobe suite is a plus.
