Video Editor (with Graphic Design Bonus) — University Insights Location: Noida, Sector-96 (Work From Office) Type: Full-time About the Role: You’ll craft high-impact videos and social creatives for MBBS Abroad, Aviation (CPL/MPL), and global education campaigns—Reels/Shorts, YouTube long-form, event promos, testimonials, ads, and website assets. If you also design thumbnails, carousels, posters, and event creatives, you’ll be fast-tracked. Key Responsibilities: Video Editing Edit Reels/Shorts/Long-form (hook, pacing, J-cuts/L-cuts, B-roll, captions, SRT). Add motion graphics, lower-thirds, transitions, end screens; basic color grade & audio mix. Repurpose master edits to 9:16 / 1:1 / 16:9 with platform-wise specs. Produce program explainers, campus reels, webinar highlights, success stories, ads. Maintain asset library, file naming, project backups, and version control. Graphic Design (Hybrid) Thumbnails, Instagram carousels, posters, one-pagers, event banners, WhatsApp creatives. On-brand templates, iconography, and style guides; rapid ad-creative iterations. Collaboration & Ops Work from briefs, storyboards, and content calendars; suggest hooks and angles. Coordinate shoots (basic camera framing/lights/mic—nice to have). Deliver to deadlines; iterate quickly on feedback. Must-Have SkillsStrong portfolio/reel (send links): edits + (if hybrid) design samples. Pro in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve), basic After Effects; design in Photoshop/Illustrator (Figma/Canva a plus). Captioning/SRT, keyframing, speed ramping, stabilization, noise reduction. Sense of storytelling, typography, and brand consistency. Hindi & English (Hinglish comfortable). Good to HaveSocial video analytics awareness (retention, hook rate, AVD). Basic 2D motion graphics, Lottie/JSON, subtitling for multilingual. YouTube SEO basics (titles, tags, thumbnails), Meta ad-creative variations. KPIs / Output ExpectationsWeekly: 8–12 Reels/Shorts, 4–6 static/carousels, 3–5 thumbnails. Fortnightly: 1–2 long-form edits (8–20 min) or showreel/case study. Quality: Hook in first 2–3 seconds, clear CTA, brand-safe, zero typos. Ops: 100% file hygiene; TAT: reels 24–48h, thumbnails same-day when needed. Experience & EducationFreshers or Experienced (portfolio matters more than degree). Prior work in education/edtech/agency is a plus. Growth Path: Video Editor → Senior Video Editor / Motion Designer → Creative Lead / Art Director.
