We’re looking for a FULL-TIME creative powerhouse passionate about storytelling through visuals. As a Video Editor at SkinBB, you’ll be critical in creating eye-catching, educational, and impactful video content that resonates with a broad audience. From quirky reels and expert-led tutorials to explainer videos and community-driven stories, your work will shape how the world sees and engages with SkinBB.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Editing

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and the SkinBB website.
• Create various formats, including explainer videos, short reels, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, live session recordings, podcasts, and animated segments for social media handles.
• Incorporate visuals, motion graphics, and transitions that align with SkinBB’s tone and brand identity.

Creative Storytelling

• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize engaging video ideas, including trend-driven content and original series.
• Transform complex skincare information into visually appealing, digestible, and entertaining formats for diverse audiences.
• Experiment with video styles and techniques to make SkinBB stand out in the crowded skincare space.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all videos meet high-quality resolution, pacing, sound, and aesthetic appeal standards.
• Edit videos while maintaining tight deadlines, ensuring they are optimized for social media and website use.

Innovation

• Stay up-to-date on video editing trends, software, and platforms to keep SkinBB content fresh and competitive.
• Pitch new content ideas and explore innovative approaches to video storytelling within the skincare metaverse Digitech space.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  2-3 years of video editing experience, preferably in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle domains.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and related software. Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus. Working experience with FCP ONLY is not desirable. 

• Creative Vision:

  Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and the ability to craft engaging narratives.

• Passion:

  A genuine interest in skincare, beauty, and digital media, with the desire to contribute to a pioneering platform.

• Collaborative Spirit:

  A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
