About the Role

The ideal candidate must have strong storytelling instincts, technical mastery of editing software, and the ability to collaborate closely with the director, producer, and VFX team.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into a polished final film that aligns with the director’s vision.
• Seamlessly blend large-scale war sequences, dramatic dialogues, and emotional arcs.
• Work on pacing, rhythm, and structure to balance

  epic action with intimate storytelling

  .
• Collaborate with the director, cinematographer, sound designer, and VFX artists.
• Ensure historical authenticity in tone, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Maintain continuity and flow while enhancing visual and emotional impact.
• Provide creative input on

  scene transitions, montages, and dramatic highlights

  .
• Manage multiple versions/cuts and incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Oversee technical aspects of editing including color grading, sound syncing, and final export.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of proven experience in feature film editing (historical/epic genres preferred).
• Mastery of editing software such as

  Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, or DaVinci Resolve

  .
• Strong grasp of cinematic storytelling, character arcs, and battle scene dynamics.
• Ability to handle

  large-scale VFX integration and multi-camera battle sequences

  .
• Excellent sense of

  pacing, rhythm, and dramatic tension

  .
• Knowledge of sound design and basic color correction.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining creative quality.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work on
