Job Description

You will be responsible for capturing raw footage, editing content into polished short videos, and integrating visual effects and AI-assisted enhancements. You should be comfortable working end-to-end: from planning shoots and camera work to postproduction, and pushing creative boundaries using AI tools and VFX. Key Responsibilities:Shooting & ProductionPlan and execute video shoots (on location / studio) for short format (e.g. reels, shorts, promos). Operate cameras, lighting, stabilization (gimbals, drones, rigs) and audio capture equipment. Work with storyboard / creative briefs to frame and capture required shots. Manage on-set logistics: setup, take down, media management, and backup workflows. Collaborate with directors, designers, and creative leads to ensure shoot matches vision. Editing & PostproductionEdit raw footage into compelling short videos (e.g. 15s, 30s, 60s, 2 min). Perform trimming, sequencing, transitions, pacing, and storytelling. Do color correction / grading, audio editing / mixing, mastering. Incorporate motion graphics, titling, captions, and overlays. Export deliverables in required formats and aspect ratios (vertical, square, landscape, etc.). VFX & AI IntegrationDesign and integrate visual effects (compositing, keying, tracking, masking, particle effects). Use tools like After Effects, Nuke, Fusion, or similar. Apply AI-based tools / plugins (e.g. for automatic rotoscoping, stylization, upscaling, de-noising, auto editing assistants) to accelerate workflows. Innovate with generative effects / AI video tools to add creative flair. Ensure seamless integration of VFX with live footage. Collaboration, Innovation & ProcessWork cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and content teams to align video content with brand goals. Participate in brainstorming, concepting, and ideation sessions for visual storytelling. Stay updated with latest tools, techniques, trends in AI, VFX, and short video formats. Document workflows, optimize pipelines, and introduce efficiencies (e.g. automation, templates). Manage multiple projects simultaneously, deliver to deadlines, and iterate based on feedback.
