Video Editor

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor & Digital Media Specialist to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content across various digital platforms, enhancing our brand’s storytelling, and increasing audience engagement. You’ll work closely with the marketing, content, and social media teams to deliver impactful video content that aligns with our brand strategy and captivates our audience.

Core Responsibilities

• Video Editing and Production:

  Edit raw footage into polished, professional video content for use on social media, websites, email campaigns, and other digital channels. This includes trimming footage, adding transitions, graphics, special effects, sound, and captions.

• Content Creation for Digital Media:

  Collaborate with creative teams to brainstorm, plan, and produce video content that aligns with marketing goals, including promotional videos, tutorials, interviews, product demonstrations, and brand storytelling.

• Graphics and Animation Integration:

  Design and integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations to enhance the appeal of video content and ensure consistency with brand visuals.

• Digital Media Optimization:

  Adapt and format video content for various digital platforms, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube), ensuring that each piece is optimized for platform-specific requirements.

• Brand Consistency:

  Work closely with the brand and marketing teams to maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all video content, reinforcing our brand identity.
• Storyboarding and Script Collaboration: Participate in storyboarding sessions, provide input on scripts, and contribute creative ideas to bring concepts to life visually.

• Audio Editing and Sound Design:

  Edit and mix soundtracks, voiceovers, and other audio elements to enhance video quality, ensuring clear and professional sound across all content.

• Project Management:

  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards, and maintain organized archives of all video assets.

• Trend Monitoring:

  Stay updated on video and digital media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve content and engagement strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Film Production, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience (4-5 years) as a Video Editor or Digital Media Specialist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video production and editing.

Skills

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and video editing techniques.
• Experience in motion graphics, animation, and graphic design is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of social media platforms and their video requirements (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with color grading and sound design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with video production equipment (cameras, lighting, audio).
