Location: Coimbatore Department: Video Publication / Media Team Experience Level: 2–5 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the team's vision and is suitable for publishing across digital platforms. You should have a keen eye for storytelling, timing, and visual continuity, along with technical proficiency in industry-standard editing tools. Key Responsibilities: Understand creative briefs and collaborate with the Video Publication team to meet content needs and specifications. Edit video pieces to ensure seamless sequencing, logical flow, and high-quality output. Trim and assemble raw footage into polished final cuts. Add music, dialogues, graphics, animations, subtitles, and effects where needed. Ensure projects are delivered on time without compromising creative integrity. Continuously explore and implement new editing techniques, tools, and best practices to improve productivity and storytelling. Maintain and organize video assets for easy access and future use. Required Skillset: Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects). Solid understanding of timing, pacing, and visual composition. Familiarity with sound design, color grading, and motion graphics. Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines. Good sense of narrative and visual storytelling. Preferred Qualifications: Degree or certification in Film Studies, Media, Communication, or a related field. Experience in editing content for digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, or OTT.
