Job Title: Video Editor (with Videography Knowledge)

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with strong videography skills to join our team. The role involves capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content for digital platforms, social media, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both shooting and post-production, with an eye for detail, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and capture high-quality video footage for various projects including promotional videos, client stories, construction updates, and social media reels.
• Edit raw footage into engaging final outputs using industry-standard software.
• Work on color grading, motion graphics, and sound editing to enhance video quality.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
• Manage all video assets, maintain file organization, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing and filming trends to produce fresh, innovative content.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of videography: camera handling, framing, lighting, and audio recording.
• Proficiency in video editing software:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve (including download and usage for color grading)
• CapCut (for quick edits and social media content)
• Knowledge of different video formats and social media requirements.
• Ability to add transitions, effects, animations, and titles to make videos more engaging.
• Creativity in storytelling, with attention to pacing, rhythm, and visual impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor and Videographer.
• A strong portfolio showcasing editing and videography projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communication, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
