About the Role

We are building a modern, premium teacher-training and education platform. Our goal is to create clean, simple, quality training videos that teachers genuinely enjoy learning from.

We are looking for a Video Editor + Motion Graphics Artist who can transform raw footage into aesthetic, structured, visually engaging learning content. Someone who understands how to keep videos crisp, distraction-free, and aligned with a strong brand identity.

This is a high-ownership role: you will define the post-production style of the entire platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing

• Edit long-form and short-form training videos from raw footage
• Structure videos into clean, logical segments
• Remove background noise, adjust pacing, refine flow
• Add transitions, zooms, highlights, and overlays that enhance clarity
• Maintain consistency across 100s of videos

2. Motion Graphics & Animation

• Create simple, modern animations for concepts
• Add kinetic text, diagram animations, icons, callouts
• Build explainer-style motion graphics in After Effects
• Create reusable templates to speed up production
• Work on brand-aligned visual systems

3. Visual Branding & Aesthetic Quality

• Maintain a cohesive style across all modules
• Ensure clarity, minimalism, and premium look
• Colour correction, colour grading, visual enhancement
• Create branded title cards, lower thirds, and end screens
• Design graphics that improve teacher understanding

4. Collaboration Workflow

• Work closely with Instructional Designers
• Integrate storyboards, flow diagrams, and screen text into final edits
• Guide presenters on how to shoot for best results
• Maintain version control and deliver files on time
• Handle large project timelines and tight deadlines

Tools You Should Be Strong In

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop (for visual assets)
• DaVinci Resolve (bonus)
• Figma (optional but useful)

Bonus Skills

(Not mandatory, but gives you a big advantage)

• Experience in EdTech, MOOCs, or training content
• Ability to design simple 2D illustrations
• Audio clean-up, noise reduction, mixing
• Building LUTs or colour profiles
• Ability to visualise educational concepts

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in design, animation, media, or any relevant field
• OR equivalent portfolio with proven high-quality work
• Minimum 2 years of editing/motion graphics experience

Portfolio is mandatory.
