Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Operator Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom Operators using Golang. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster operations, API machinery, and CRD development, driving automation and scalability across our cloud-native infrastructure. This position requires strong technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Kubernetes Operators using Golang.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters — including deployment, scaling, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and controllers.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Product, and Platform Engineering teams to automate and enhance infrastructure workflows.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Kubernetes and Operator-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain code quality.
• Document design decisions, processes, and technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster operations (manifests, Helm, deployments).
• Proficient in Golang, with proven experience writing Kubernetes Operators.
• In-depth understanding of Kubernetes API machinery, controllers, and CRDs.
• Solid grasp of networking concepts and container orchestration.
• Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex Kubernetes-related issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Understanding of security best practices for containerized environments.
• Open-source contxributions or community involvement in Kubernetes projects.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) are an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹2,200,000.00 per year
