Job Description

Position Overview: We are looking for a VP of Sales to lead and manage all sales activities after the initial outreach. This role will involve engaging potential clients, driving deal closures, scaling revenue operations, and administering the overall sales process. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales within the financial research / KPO, with a strong ability to build relationships, negotiate deals, and optimize sales operations. Key Responsibilities: Own and manage the entire sales process from initial engagement to deal closure, ensuring smooth client conversion Develop and execute sales strategies to target financial institutions, investment firms, and high-growth startups Conduct in-depth discussions with potential clients to understand their financial research needs and position Rubyworks services effectively Structure and negotiate commercial agreements tailored to client requirements and business objectives Should build and have existing relationships with decision-makers at PE/VC firms, investment banks, and corporate finance teams and able to work with potential clients across the globe Administer and optimize the overall sales process, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with business goals Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery post-sales and manage client expectations Establish and track sales performance metrics, analysing data to refine strategies and improve conversion rates Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to drive long-term growth Represent Rubyworks at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility. Work with inside sales associate who is going to work on lead generation and leverage data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and forecasting Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in sales within the financial KPO (investment banking, financial research, PE/VC, or related fields) Demonstrated track record of closing contracts and achieving revenue targets Expertise in consultative sales, relationship management, and deal structuring Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and articulate financial solutions effectively Experience working with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills Self-motivated leader with the ability to drive and scale a sales function Why Join Rubyworks?
