Vice President - Plant Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Plant Operations. This pivotal role is based in Ahmedabad and offers an annual salary of 50,00,000. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in manufacturing and plant operations, with a proven track record of managing complex production environments. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plant operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
• Oversee the production handling processes, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Implement and maintain best practices in manufacturing, focusing on heat exchangers, pumps, pressure vessels, and valves.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication across departments.
• Manage and mentor plant management staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for plant operations, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote operational excellence and drive innovation within the plant.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 18 years of relevant work experience, with a preference for candidates having over 25 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in managing manufacturing processes, particularly in areas related to heat exchangers, pumps, pressure vessels, and valves.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
