Vice President Operations

Role & responsibilities

Production:

• Handling end to end activities of mattress production including planning, and scheduling.
• Capacity planning as per the annual Business Plan aligned with company's goal, strategy, strength and limitations.
• Yearly, quarterly and monthly production planning and monitoring to ensure on time execution of orders, and to control of WIP.
• Preparation of annual production budget and set production goals in line with company sales plan, communicate them to key personnel and execute effectively.
• Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all process and product lines.
• Establishing workflow policies that enhances speed and efficiency without compromising product quality.
• Meeting the quality standards of products as per specifications & work closely with Quality control department to establish best practices.
• Coordinating and executing the work with different departments of manufacturing and other functions outside manufacturing to support overall coordination for achieving common business objectives.
• Developing and implementing policies, procedures, health and safety guidelines
• Periodical (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly) planning of manpower, machinery and material requirements.

Maintenance

• Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Develop preventive maintenance policy and implement within (1) month of commencement of work.
• Preparing periodical proposals, selection, installation and maintenance of plant and machinery, tools and equipment based on production requirements

Manpower

• Oversee a workforce of 350+empolyees in the manufacturing department across all the units of the company.
• Recruiting, managing and training of production staff and employees.

Health & Safety

• Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
• Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees to achieve the objectives of the company.
