Job Description

Role Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the national lending business for SME, PL, and LAP verticals with full P&L ownership.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve business targets across all product lines.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across regions and channels.
Collaborate closely with risk, product, credit, and operations teams to ensure robust end-to- end execution.
Identify new market opportunities and drive geographical expansion.
Drive innovation in customer acquisition strategies and channel development (DSA, DST, digital, etc).
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
Leverage data to monitor performance, derive insights, and optimize processes.
Represent the business externally with key stakeholders, partners, and alliances.

Attributes we are looking for:

Experience: 17 - 20 years of total experience in financial services with at least 5+ years as a National Sales Head in a mid to large scale NBFC, fintech, or small finance bank.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of SME lending, Personal Loans (PL), and Loan Against Property (LAP) products and markets.
Leadership: Strong people management and leadership skills with experience handling large sales teams across regions.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to drive strategy and execution simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Education: Bachelors degree is a must; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
