Manage Supplier & Customer relationships.
Sourcing of Steam Coal.
Finalization of Contracts with Supplier / Buyers.
Local Sale of Raw-materials & to keep track of delivery & Receipts
Freight and Chartering
Stevedoring of Dry Bulk Cargoes.
Managing the Port dock office and Team.
Coordinate with Customs & Port authorities.
Represent the Company in International Coal Conferences.
Lead, mentor & manage the entire gamut of Import activities in Containers and in Bulk.
Manage Exports in Containers / Bulk when required.
Sourcing of Indonesian and South African Coal. Keep record of market rates.
Scrutinize and finalize the Contracts in conformity with the deal.
Identify, negotiate and manage with CFS, CHA and port operation equipment supplier Vendors.
Manage Stevedoring of Steel Scrap & Iron Ore Pellets, handle vessel and Port operations.
Approving Bills and ensure timely payments for all Import and Stevedoring operations.
Manage records of Sales and timely payment receipts.
Maintain Imported material data and the quality parameters.
Motivate and manage team at Chennai Port and Ennore Port.
Ensure good management of dock office and equipment maintenance.
Submitting required reports to the Managing director.
