Join us and be part of something extraordinary.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President (Grade VPR), External Reporting to join our CONTROLLERS - Financial Reporting team. This role is located in Pune or Chennai.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Daily Balance sheet preparation, performing variance analysis and providing explanation.
- Monthly financial statement preparation, review and providing quality commentary.
- Quarterly Board pack preparation and presentation.
- Year-end financial statement preparation along with Year on Year (YoY) variance analysis and preparation of commentary.
- Quickly understand the reporting changes in the process and implement.
- Liaising and coordinating with LE Controllers and also presenting financials.
- Process simplification, process improvements, setting up and/or reviewing internal controls, review of financials, automation etc.
- Handling queries from Group Reporting, Controllers & Auditors.
- Helping in internal reviews for key financials.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Financial statement preparation, variance analysis and preparation of commentary.
- Ability to summarize and present financial data in an organized and concise manner.
- Hands on experience in Legal Entity Controller Reporting and exposure to IFRS/US GAAP.
- Candidate must be able to work independently and can interact with team members, management, legal entity controllers and regulators.
- Working knowledge in MS Excel, Oracle, Power BI, PPT etc.
- Clear understanding of the investment management, investment services, and wealth management services.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills / MS Office proficient.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Organized with the ability to lead tasks and work effectively in a multi-located team environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Work experience in Legal Entity Reporting is added advantage.
Education And Experience
- Qualified CA/CIMA/CPA with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Semi qualified CA/CIMA/CPA with 13+ years of relevant experience.
