Vice President Data Analysis & SME Lead

Role Overview: As the Vice President Data Analysis & SME Lead at Barclays, you will be instrumental in providing strategic direction, leveraging advanced analytical skills and demonstrating leadership capabilities to ensure that various Corporate Bank initiatives are in alignment with and adhere to the Corporate Strategy. Your role will involve analyzing complex data sets, interpreting results, providing actionable insights, and using a variety of data analysis tools and techniques to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiently analyze complex data sets and interpret results to derive actionable insights. - Write SQL and NoSQL queries, with expertise in data modeling and query optimization for relational and non-relational databases. - Utilize data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel for analysis. - Create clear and informative visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. - Apply statistical methods to analyze data effectively and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. - Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills to present findings to stakeholders. - Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. - Lead and mentor a team of data analysts. - Align data analysis with business objectives by understanding business processes.
