About the Role:

10+ years of banking, credit, or MSME financing experience

The ideal candidate could be a retired banker or senior NBFC professional with deep expertise in credit appraisal, loan processing, and government schemes. They will also drive SDR (Scheme Discovery Report) sales by aligning the Availment team’s success with business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Building & Leadership

  • Build and train a high-performing Availment team to handle growing MSME volumes.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for execution of scheme and loan availment processes.
  • Mentor team on credit assessments, compliance requirements, and documentation best practices.

2. MSME Consulting & Execution

  • Oversee the entire MSME journey — from scheme discovery to fund disbursement.
  • Evaluate compliance gaps and guide MSMEs on alternate financing options (e.g., loans) when schemes are not viable.
  • Establish relationships with Govt. departments, Banks, NBFCs and FIs to ensure faster disbursements.

3. Sales & Business Push

  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive

    Scheme Discovery Report (SDR)

    sales.
  • Convert SDR leads into actionable, disbursable cases by ensuring high success rates.
  • Identify new opportunities and partnerships that can feed the availment pipeline.

4. Process Excellence & Compliance

  • Develop strategies to optimize scheme/loan availment processes for higher efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest government policies, schemes, and financing trends.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with regulations and internal policies.

5. Reporting & Metrics

  • Track and report on disbursement success rates, SDR conversion ratios, and team performance.
  • Present regular insights to management for continuous improvement.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience

    in banking, credit appraisal, MSME financing, or related domains (retired bankers are welcome).
  • Proven track record of managing teams and processes in loan processing or government scheme execution.
  • Deep understanding of MSME ecosystem, credit products, and government subsidy mechanisms.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and drive measurable outcomes.
