Job Description

The Venue Manager (VM) is responsible for overseeing the daily functioning, team coordination, and overall customer experience at the assigned sports facility. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational excellence, people management, and a passion for sports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all bookings, payments, and add-ons via the assigned sports management app.
  • Interact with customers on-ground, address queries, and foster a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Take ownership of facility infrastructure, ensuring it is always in top condition; report updates to the Business Executive and coordinate timely upkeep.
  • Ensure cleanliness and utility management (water, electricity, restrooms, CCTV, changing rooms, vending machines, playing areas).
  • Supervise inventory and utility requisitions, ensuring weekly reports are submitted to the operations team.
  • Handle offline bookings and additional payment collections at the venue.
  • Manage and report repair and maintenance escalations to the operations team weekly.
  • Organize and execute community games, events, and campaigns, and assist central teams in on-ground activations.
  • Drive excellence in customer experience, compliance, team performance, and goal achievement.
  • Ensure proper usage of internal tools such as Connecteam, Slack, and booking platforms for operations and reporting.
  • Oversee the installation and upkeep of branding and signage, enhancing the facility’s ambience.
  • Ensure all sports equipment is maintained and readily available for customer use.
  • Work collaboratively with management to implement and uphold company policies.
  • Represent the organization with a strong sense of ownership, professionalism, and integrity.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Graduate in any field, with a keen interest in sports.
  • Comfortable with using mobile apps and technology platforms.
  • Fluent in Hindi; basic English or regional language skills are an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates strong integrity, punctuality, leadership, and customer service orientation.
  • Preferred experience in hospitality, facility management, events, QSR, retail, or similar industries.
