Vendor Management - Manager

As a Manager, Vendor Management Office (VMO) at Vitech, you will play a crucial role in leading and maturing our vendor governance practices. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the full lifecycle of vendor relationships, from onboarding and performance management to risk mitigation and contract optimization. By collaborating across business units, you will ensure that our vendor ecosystem aligns with operational goals, regulatory requirements, and long-term business strategy. Your key responsibilities will involve developing and leading the Vendor Management Office function, establishing frameworks, policies, and processes for vendor governance. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring vendor performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and regular business reviews. Working closely with procurement, legal, security, finance, and business stakeholders, you will support vendor selection, negotiation, and onboarding processes. Additionally, you will ensure vendor compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations. Your role will also encompass leading vendor risk management efforts, including risk assessments, audits, and mitigation planning. Contract lifecycle management, vendor consolidation, cost savings identification, and service improvements will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will maintain centralized documentation of all vendor relationships, contracts, and risk assessments, and act as a key escalation point for vendor-related issues, ensuring resolution paths are in place. Providing reporting and executive updates on vendor portfolio performance, risk posture, and cost optimization initiatives will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA being a plus. You should have at least 5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing roles, including 2+ years in a leadership or people management capacity. Strong knowledge of vendor risk, contract negotiation, and governance frameworks is essential. Experience with vendor management tools or platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, or ServiceNow VMO is preferred. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to third-party vendors (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO) is also important. Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills are necessary for this role.
