Job Description – Vehicle DriverJob Title: Vehicle Driver Department: Administration / Logistics / Supply Chain Reporting To: Transport In-charge / Warehouse Manager / Admin Manager Location: Noida Role PurposeTo safely operate company vehicles for transportation of goods, materials, documents, or personnel while ensuring timely delivery, vehicle upkeep, and compliance with traffic and company safety regulations. Key Responsibilities🔹 Driving & Transportation Drive company vehicles (Light Commercial Vehicle / Truck / Car / Two-wheeler as applicable) safely and responsibly. Transport raw materials, finished goods, samples, documents, or staff as per company requirement. Ensure on-time delivery and collection as per route plan. 🔹 Vehicle Maintenance & Care Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle at all times. Perform basic daily checks (fuel, oil, coolant, tyre pressure, lights, brakes). Report mechanical issues immediately to the concerned authority. Ensure timely servicing, PUC, insurance and fitness renewal. 🔹 Documentation & Compliance Maintain logbook for daily trips, fuel usage and kilometer readings. Carry valid driving license, RC, insurance, permit, PUC and other required documents. Follow traffic rules, safety regulations and company policies strictly. 🔹 Safety & Security Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials. Protect company goods from damage, theft or loss during transit. Avoid rash driving, over-speeding or alcohol consumption. 🔹 Support Duties Assist warehouse/logistics team when required. Perform other duties assigned by management related to transportation. Key Skills & CompetenciesSafe and defensive driving skills. Knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge. Punctual, disciplined and trustworthy. Ability to follow instructions and schedules. Qualification & ExperienceMinimum education: 8th / 10th Pass (preferred). Valid driving license (LMV / HMV as applicable). 2–5 years of professional driving experience preferred. Physical & Other RequirementsPhysically fit and able to work flexible hours. Willingness to travel locally / outstation as required. No history of serious traffic violations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely delivery and pickup.
