Job Description

Role Overview

Resident VC Engineer

🎓 Qualifications

Option 1:

BE/BTech/MCA/MSc (Computer Science/Electronics)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Option 2:

Diploma/BCA/BSc (Computer Science/Electronics)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

✅ Must-Have Skills

Hands-on experience with
Cisco CMS, CMM, CUCM, TMS, Expressway, and IP Phones
Strong understanding of
SIP and H.323 protocols
Proficient in managing
Cisco VC endpoints
Certifications such as
CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
are highly preferred

🛠 Key Responsibilities

Schedule, monitor, and manage daily VC sessions across departments
Serve as the
primary onsite contact
for all VC-related operations and escalations
Manage and support
200+ VC endpoints
across multiple client locations
Submit weekly performance and activity reports; perform infrastructure backups
Coordinate with
Cisco TAC, client POCs, and internal teams
for issue resolution
Execute configuration updates, firmware upgrades, SSL certificate renewals
Test and validate new features before deployment into production
Schedule and manage
WebEx meetings
via shared credentials
Coordinate
RMA
processing for faulty devices using the client’s Cisco account
Ensure continuous, high-quality VC service with minimal downtime
Deliver
basic user training
and support on VC usage and troubleshooting
