Job Description

VC++ Developer 27689

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a VC++ Developer.
Strong knowledge of Win32 API, MFC, STL, SQL, XML, and TCP/IP Sockets.
Experience interfacing with COM ports, USB devices, PCI cards, and Ethernet networks.
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Ability to debug and optimize multithreaded applications.
Solid understanding of Visual C++ and object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with software development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of Modbus and SECS/GEM protocols.
Knowledge of Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers.
Experience in industrial automation software development.
Familiarity with liquid chemical analytical hardware.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications using Microsoft Visual C++.
Implement new features to control hardware analyzers and dosing systems in an established codebase.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine software requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment.

Must-Haves

B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Tech/MS (mandatory).
Minimum 3 years of experience in C++.
Minimum 3 years of experience in MFC.
Strong experience in data structures and algorithms.
Hands-on experience in Windows environment (Win32).
Prior experience in a product-based company is mandatory.
Candidate stability is required (minimum 2 years in one organization).
Notice Period: 30–60 days.
Willingness to relocate to Chennai.
