Role Overview

Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Developer

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCS.
• Build and manage integrations between Oracle SaaS, on-premise systems, and third-party applications using OIC.
• Develop and expose REST APIs using ORDS for secure, scalable services.
• Work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure applications follow best practices in performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing applications and integrations.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–10 years of IT experience, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud development.
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle VBCS for building responsive web and mobile applications.
• Solid experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) – designing integrations, orchestrations, and adapters.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for building and managing REST APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of SOAP/REST web services, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with Oracle SaaS modules (ERP, HCM, SCM, CX) integrations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Oracle APEX or other low-code platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and version control tools (Git).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
